Associate Professor Becky Shelley led the development of the module in collaboration with colleagues from the Peter Underwood Centre and experts from the University of Tasmania. Becky is the Deputy Director, Aspiration and Attainment at the Peter Underwood Centre at the University of Tasmania. With a discipline background in political science, Becky focuses her work on social change at the intersections of policy, research and practice.

Dr Megan Lang is a Research Fellow with the Peter Underwood Centre. Her work focuses on children's rights and participation, informal learning, and intersections of education research, policy, and practice.

Dr Michael A. Guerzoni works as a social scientist in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, lecturing on the structures of the criminal justice system and the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of Australian legal systems. His current research areas include the sociology of organisations and the sociology of education.

Dr. Ash Barnes is a policy officer and criminologist, working at the University of Tasmania across Sociology and Criminology. They specialize in harm,  sexual and physical violence and LGBTIQA+ health.
