Our annual pro bono and social impact award program recognizes DWT lawyers and staff who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing justice and serving communities in need. Their efforts and contributions represent the firm’s core values of ability, integrity, and service to others.

Julie Orr Heart of Justice Award 

Celyra I. Myers | Biography

ASSOCIATE | Washington, D.C.

Celyra Myers was this year’s recipient of the Julie Orr Heart of Justice Award. Celyra focused her pro bono efforts on serving marginalized groups that lacked equitable access to the justice system. Notably, Celyra provided invaluable support to K.NGSLEY, an independent Black queer fashion brand dedicated to spreading sex-positivity, gender acceptance, and HIV awareness, and assisted Injustice Watch, a police watchdog group, in obtaining the compelled disclosure of factors underlying denials of U-Visa applications.

Community Champion Distinguished Staff Award

Sadia Collins

PROFESSIONAL STAFF | New York

The Staff Community Champion Award recognizes a staff member who is devoted to advancing pro bono or social impact at DWT. Sadia’s commitment to DWT’s pro bono partnership with the Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) to secure birth certificates for individuals experiencing homelessness has been extraordinary. We began our partnership with HAP in late 2022 and Sadia has been central to the success of the collaboration and all those we have been able to help.

Willard J. Wright Award

Brad Miller | Biography

PARTNER | Washington, D.C.

The Willard J. Wright Award is given to a partner who demonstrates a commitment to the community. Brad’s commitment to the community is steadfast. Through his pro bono work, Brad helps formalize adoptions for formerly abused and neglected children in the foster care system who are joining safe, loving homes. Brad also gives of his time and talent by serving as a board member for Public Counsel, a nonprofit advancing civil rights and racial and economic justice.

Olivier is an active member of the Portland DEI Office Committee, where his exceptional dedication to fostering a more inclusive and equitable workplace helps advance local initiatives and strengthen engagement across the office.

Anne Moloney

PROFESSIONAL STAFF | Portland

The Staff DEI Award recognizes a non-managerial staff employee who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to promoting DEI within the firm. Anne serves as co-chair of the Abilities & Allies Employee Resource Group, helping to create community, accessibility, and disability advocacy across the firm.

Robin Huey | Biography

PROFESSIONAL STAFF | San Francisco

The Staff DEI Leadership Award recognizes a member of our manager-level staff who has shown outstanding leadership in advancing DEI within their team and the firm. Robin serves on the San Francisco Office DEI Committee, where she plays an integral role in driving programming and fostering an inclusive office culture. She is also an advisor to our United Shades of DWT ERG, where she helps cultivate an inclusive community firmwide.

The Edward J. Davis Award is given to a partner who has made exceptional efforts to advance diversity and mentorship of all attorneys—including those of different backgrounds—throughout the firm. As the chair of the Health Care Practice DEI Committee and former co-chair of the Attorneys of Color Affinity Group, Jean has demonstrated outstanding commitment, dedication, and work excellence, championing and incorporating diverse backgrounds, ideas and perspectives to provide significant value to the firm and our clients.
