DISCOVER THE TIMELESS WONDERS

Located in the heart of Japan, Nagano offers a captivating blend of
history, culture, and natural beauty.

Less than two hours by bullet train from Tokyo, Nagano invites you to step back in time and immerse yourself in its rich historical and cultural heritage.

The capital, Nagano City, evolved as a temple town around Zenko-ji, one of Japan's most revered and visited temples. As you wander through the city, you'll encounter countless historic temples and shrines where samurai once walked and discover spiritual beliefs that shaped the people's way of life.

The province gained international fame when it hosted the Winter Olympic Games in 1998; remnants of this prestigious event can still be seen today. You can explore former Olympic facilities, such as the M-Wave speed skating arena and the White Ring figure skating venue, which now symbolise Nagano's modern achievements.

The prefecture is known for its stunning landscapes, from the majestic Japanese Alps to the tranquil hot springs, making Nagano a perfect holiday escape for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Club Wyndham Chikumakan Nagano is a Ryokan resort located in the serene Chikuma City in Nagano prefecture. The resort offers an exquisite mix of modern comfort and traditional Japanese style.

The resort's spacious dining room offers several private dining areas where you can enjoy the finest Shinshu specialties made with seasonal ingredients.

The resort has both indoor and outdoor onsen for relaxation. These natural hot spring baths, known for their mineral-rich waters, provide a rejuvenating experience after a day of exploration. Complementing the therapeutic onsen experience are several open-plan resting spaces where you can chill, read a good book, or enjoy a cup of tea.
