Greetings! I'm Rayyan Ahmed Hamza, a dedicated professional in the field of media and journalism. Completed my Master's degree in Visual Journalism & Storytelling at the University of Bolton, I bring a wealth of experience and a passion for storytelling to the table.

Key Skills

• Communication Skill: While working on a collaborative project with Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC), I conducted numerous interviews with community members and stakeholders. My ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds was crucial in gathering authentic and engaging stories for the documentary and reel.
• Proactive: Being initiative-taking was essential in anticipating challenges and finding solutions before they impacted our production schedule. For instance, I developed a system to track the availability of external contributors for interviews well in advance, ensuring we had backup options if a primary source became unavailable at the last minute. This initiative-taking approach helped us maintain our programming schedule without compromising on content quality.
• Visual Thinking and Adaptability: In the dynamic environment of live news production, adaptability is key. There was an instance where a scheduled segment had to be replaced at the last minute. I quickly restructured the segment layout and coordinated with the team to seamlessly integrate the updated content, showcasing my ability to think visually and adapt under pressure.
• Confidence and Patience: During my interactions with various stakeholders, including writers, actors, and the public, I displayed confidence and patience. For example, when coordinating interviews, I patiently addressed any concerns and ensured everyone felt comfortable and valued, which facilitated smoother production processes.
• Collaborative and Independent Work: While collaborating on the BWitC project, I worked closely with the team to develop the documentary's concept and independently handled the post-production editing. This balance of collaborative and independent work ensured a cohesive and polished final product.
