Richard Goyder AO
Chairman
Richard is a passionate advocate for Telethon and its mission to transform the lives of Western Australian children and families. He chairs Woodside Energy, Perron Group and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, and is the former Chief Executive and Managing Director of Wesfarmers, one of Australia’s top-10 companies. Richard was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to business, the arts and indigenous programs and was named 2021 West Australian of the Year in recognition of his deep commitment to community and philanthropy.
Kerry Stokes AC

Kerry is chair of Australian Capital Equity which has interests in media and entertainment, resources, energy, property, pastoral and mining. Along with many other awards, Kerry has received Australia’s highest honour, the Companion of the Order of Australia, in recognition of his contributions to business and philanthropy.
Christine Simpson Stokes AM

Christine has a long involvement with the arts, philanthropy and business. She served on the Federal Government’s Arts and Advisory board for nine years, is an Executive Director of Australian Capital Equity Pty Ltd and is a patron of numerous organisations on both the west and east coasts. Christine has a personal commitment to Telethon spanning more than two decades and has been a Trustee since 2009.
Tonya McCusker AM
Trustee
Tonya is a director and administrator of the McCusker Charitable Foundation, working with more than 200 charities. She is also an advisory board member of the McCusker Centre for Citizenship (UWA) and McCusker Institute (ANU) and a UNICEF International Council Member. Tonya has a law degree, postgraduate diploma in management, Honorary Doctorate (Curtin University) and was a former dancer with the Australian Ballet Company.
Tim Roberts

Tim Roberts is the Chairman & Founder of the Warburton Group, a diversified private family office that manages the Groups extensive portfolio of investments across multiple asset classes including property, mining and resources, infrastructure, aviation, aquaculture, agriculture, marine, technology, equities, hedge funds and private equity. Prior to establishing Warburton Group, Tim was director of Multiplex Ltd, until the acquisition by Brookfield Asset Management. Tim is also active in supporting cultural and community organisations in Western Australia. He was previously the Patron of the Perth Symphony Orchestra and is the current Patron of the North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club, reflecting his longstanding commitment to community engagement and philanthropy.
Maryna Fewster

Maryna Fewster is the Chief Executive of Seven West Media WA having previously been the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Seven West Media, she was Chief Operating Officer of iiNet, an ASX 200 company and held senior executive roles in the telecommunications sector in Australia and New Zealand for more than two decades. In her leadership roles, Maryna has built a reputation for strategic management, community engagement, and corporate transformation. Maryna is currently a Non-Executive Director of Crown Perth, a Trustee of The Channel 7 Telethon Trust and a Commissioner on Tourism WA.

Bill is a mining engineer with more than 30 years’ experience in the resources sector and is managing director at Develop. He is a past chairman of the Western Australian School of Mines Alumni Patrons Group and former executive chair of Northern Star. He has been named CEO of the Year by the Australian Financial Review and Pinnacle Awards’ Business Leader of the Year (WA).
Nick Stagg

Nick is a co-founder and legal practice director of Perth boutique law firm Steedman Stagg Lawyers, where he works in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He has 30+ years’ experience advising and representing media organisations, mining companies, statutory corporations, politicians, company directors, business people and other individuals in litigious and commercial matters. A former journalist with The West Australian, he specialises in media and defamation law, commercial and contract disputes and mining law. Nick is a former Chair of Crime Stoppers WA.
Guy Houston

Guy is an experienced former journalist and public sector professional who currently works as an adviser at Australian Capital Equity. Prior to his current role, Guy was chief-of-staff to Mark McGowan for nine years, including the last four while in government. With a background in journalism, corporate communications in the resource sector and having also advised previous premiers Geoff Gallop and Alan Carpenter, Guy brings a wealth of experience, insights, and connections across the private and public sectors in WA and Australia.

Christopher is the Editor-in-Chief of West Australian Newspapers and The Nightly. He is a media executive with more than three decades of experience in digital and print publishing having worked across the country in senior newsroom and leadership roles, including as Editor-in-Chief of The Australian, Editor of The Daily Telegraph in Sydney and The Courier Mail in Brisbane.
Craig Dettman

Prior to joining Seven West Media, he was the CEO and CFO of Allight Pty Ltd and held senior executive roles in the Mining Services and Oil and Gas industries in Australia and United Arab Emirates. Craig has over 25 years experience in leading large and diverse teams across complex financial and operational environments.
